This position is essential to our daily operations, focusing on the efficient handling and movement of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing items for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves, racks, and bins with incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using order lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in loading outbound shipments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
