Join our team as a Picker/Packer in the bustling city of Chicago, Illinois! We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders. This role is vital for ensuring timely and correct shipments, directly impacting customer satisfaction and our overall Logistics efficiency. You will be responsible for retrieving items from shelves, verifying order accuracy, packaging products securely, and preparing them for shipment. A commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Prepare packages for dispatch, including labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety procedures and policies.
- Participate in inventory management tasks.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent movement and occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and possesses excellent attention to detail. Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial but not required.
