We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee and manage various warehouse operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, managing staff schedules, and optimizing warehouse layout for maximum efficiency. Your duties will include supervising warehouse personnel, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring that all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are strictly followed. You'll also play a key role in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, resolving any discrepancies, and liaising with other departments and external partners. A strong understanding of inventory control principles and experience with warehouse management software are essential. The ability to handle moderate to heavy Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, will also be necessary. - Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Coordinate staff activities, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, including PPE usage.
- Manage the scheduling of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff.
- Handle discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports.
- Participate in Lifting tasks as needed, up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management.
- Ability to handle Lifting and perform physical tasks.
- Understanding of safety regulations and PPE requirements.
