Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Jacksonville, Florida! Our fast-paced logistics facility is seeking energetic individuals to pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. You will play a key role in ensuring order accuracy and customer satisfaction. This position involves working with a variety of products and requires speed, efficiency, and attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from inventory shelves.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Verify order contents against customer purchase orders.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Meet performance standards for speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily goals.
- Ensure all items are handled with care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for using scanners and WMS.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse flow.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
