We are actively recruiting for a skilled Forklift Operator at our Tampa, Florida facility. As a key member of our Logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse and to our customers. You will perform daily equipment checks to ensure optimal performance and safety, and adhere to all established Safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining a secure working environment. This position requires the ability to perform significant physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are looking for a reliable individual with a proven safety record and experience operating various types of forklifts. Join our dynamic team and contribute to our growing Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, position, and transport materials
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers
- Participate in inventory management and stock placement
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified or experienced Forklift Operator
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures
- Experience with scanning or WMS is a plus
- Commitment to wearing PPE at all times
