As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials, contributing to the overall success of our distribution operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong spatial awareness, and a commitment to adhering to all safety protocols. You will be a vital part of our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with reach trucks and a solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures. - Operating a reach truck to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Performing regular safety checks on equipment.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through proper scanning and data entry.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking and packing.
- Ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Experience with forklift operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring heavy Lifting on a regular basis.
- Understanding of general warehouse procedures and logistics flow.
