Join our team in Richmond, Virginia as an Order Picker! This critical role involves accurately selecting and preparing products for customer orders. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the satisfaction of our customers by ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are paramount in this logistics-focused position.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanner.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders for shipping and assist with loading.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area and the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow all safe Lifting guidelines and report any physical strain.
- Contribute to inventory management through accurate picking and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets.
- Develop a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable. Ability to work quickly and accurately is essential. Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and performing moderate Lifting throughout the shift. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety, including the proper wearing of PPE, are required. Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics principles will be advantageous. Be part of a vital link in our supply chain.
