We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Boise, Idaho. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing inventory, coordinating with shipping and receiving personnel, and ensuring that all operations adhere to safety protocols. You will play a key role in optimizing warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with truck drivers and carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
- Implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure all Lifting requirements are met safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse coordination or a similar logistics role is required. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Must be proficient in inventory management software and possess a keen understanding of warehouse operations. Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment, including proper PPE usage and safe Lifting techniques, is mandatory. A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment is paramount.
