We are seeking an organized and efficient Material Handler to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations and contributes directly to our logistics network. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment. A strong focus on accuracy, safety, and productivity is essential. The Material Handler ensures that inventory is managed correctly and that materials are readily available for all departments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials.
- Store items in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick and pack materials for outgoing shipments according to order specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all Safety protocols.
- Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Handle goods requiring significant Lifting safely and efficiently.
- Support overall Logistics operations by ensuring timely and accurate material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic inventory procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety regulations.
