We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This role involves receiving, organizing, and distributing materials and products throughout the facility. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that inventory is accurately managed and readily available for subsequent stages of the supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, and shipping docks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Pack and unpack materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counts.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be comfortable with heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
