We are seeking an experienced Inventory Clerk to join our operations in San Jose, California. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for our logistics and supply chain functions. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inventory counts, reconciling stock levels with system data, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. You will work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain precise inventory records, track stock movements, and support efficient order fulfillment. A high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with inventory management software are essential for success. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, and all employees are required to adhere to safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed. While this role is primarily analytical, there may be occasional requirements for light to moderate Lifting and movement of inventory samples. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS and other relevant systems.
- Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and receipts.
- Collaborate with operations staff to ensure proper stock rotation and storage.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure the physical organization and accuracy of inventory locations.
- Support the receiving and shipping departments with inventory-related queries.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, and possesses strong problem-solving abilities. A background in warehouse logistics or inventory management is crucial. This role is fundamental to the efficiency of our entire operation.
