Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida? We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our dedicated logistics team. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a critical role in our order fulfillment process. Your main duties will include accurately retrieving products from our warehouse inventory and then securely packaging them for shipment to our valued customers. This role demands precision, speed, and a strong understanding of inventory management principles. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing scanning equipment and following detailed pick lists. Maintaining order accuracy is paramount to our success. We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety; all employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly adhere to all safety procedures. This position involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs. Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Inspect products for quality and defects before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product integrity during shipping.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring correct labeling for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping packing stations stocked and tidy.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear mandated PPE at all times.
- Meet daily picking and packing targets while maintaining high accuracy.
- Assist with inventory checks and put-away tasks as directed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and issues.
