Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outbound shipping documentation accurately.
- Verify order details against shipping labels and manifests.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and label printers.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a shipping clerk, dispatcher, or in a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and common office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
