Become a vital part of our logistics network as an Order Picker in San Antonio, Texas! We're looking for efficient and accurate individuals to join our warehouse team. Your main responsibility will be to pick customer orders accurately and promptly using RF scanners or pick lists. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable with physical tasks, including frequent lifting. A strong focus on detail and a commitment to safety are crucial. You will work closely with other team members to achieve daily picking goals. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in warehouse operations and logistics. Strict adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of PPE is required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order forms or RF scanner.
- Verify product codes and quantities before confirming picks.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking path.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking productivity goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- This role involves repetitive lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to perform tasks involving manual labor and lifting.
