We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your contributions are vital to our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stocktaking as needed.
- Inspect products for damages and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Must be comfortable working in a logistics setting.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles is beneficial.
