An Inventory Control Specialist is needed for our Grand Rapids, Michigan warehouse. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, directly impacting our logistics efficiency. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and managing warehouse organization systems. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a systematic approach are critical. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze data to identify trends and resolve issues. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and contribute to a safe and organized work environment. We provide comprehensive training and all required PPE to ensure your safety. This role involves physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety protocols are emphasized in our training. Our logistics operations depend on precise inventory management. You will work with warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, perform audits, and implement process improvements. Experience with inventory software and strong analytical skills are a must. Responsibilities include identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, optimizing storage locations, and ensuring compliance with inventory policies.
