Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary duties will involve conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, investigating stock adjustments, and identifying root causes of errors. You will also assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and customer service to resolve inventory-related issues promptly. A commitment to safety and proper handling of all materials is paramount. You will be expected to adhere to all company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times. This role involves some lifting and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced logistics environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
