Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and retrieve products based on customer order specifications.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order forms to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to protect products during transit.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as necessary.
- Maintain an orderly and clean workspace, contributing to overall warehouse organization.
- Strictly adhere to all company Safety guidelines and the required use of PPE .
- Handle tasks involving Lifting of various package sizes and weights, using proper techniques.
- Support the efficient flow of goods within our Logistics network.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and report any stock discrepancies.
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to outgoing packages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Prior experience in a warehouse picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret and follow pick lists and order details accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform duties involving regular Lifting .
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment, including the consistent use of PPE .
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning technology.
