Join our fast-paced warehouse environment as a Picker/Packer in Las Vegas, Nevada! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to play a key role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include locating items within the warehouse, carefully picking them based on order details, and securely packing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role demands a keen eye for detail, speed, and the physical ability to handle items that may require lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using order lists or scanning devices.
- Pack products safely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify the contents of orders for accuracy before sealing and labeling.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks as needed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Support the overall logistics and shipping departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior warehouse experience, particularly in picking or packing, is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Physical capacity to stand for long periods, move quickly, and perform lifting tasks up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
