We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency will be crucial in ensuring our customers receive their products quickly and correctly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including inventory counts and stocking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to perform manual Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic Safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of logistics principles is a plus.
