Job Summary:
Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. This critical role ensures the efficient movement and organization of materials within our logistics network. You will be responsible for operating machinery to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Safety is our highest priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess strong attention to detail, and can thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers, verifying contents.
  • Transport materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping docks.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels in designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist with inventory control procedures, including cycle counting.
  • Handle all materials with care to prevent damage.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing required PPE at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is required.
  • Forklift certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
