Are you detail-oriented and looking for a rewarding role in logistics? We are seeking an Order Picker to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary duties will involve accurately locating and retrieving items from our warehouse inventory, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining the organization of your work area. Safety is a top priority, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety procedures and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other manual equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
