We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer at our Tampa, Florida facility. In this role, you will be at the forefront of fulfilling customer orders, ensuring accuracy and speed in our dynamic logistics environment. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from inventory and meticulously pack them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working area. You will work closely with other warehouse team members to achieve daily targets. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety guidelines are non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves based on order pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Securely pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product integrity.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Operate packing equipment and tools safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the packing station and work area.
- Assist in keeping inventory areas tidy and accessible.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Capable of lifting items up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Commitment to following safety instructions and using PPE.
