We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are paramount. We foster a team-oriented atmosphere and provide a safe working environment with all necessary PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Sort and organize inventory within the warehouse using appropriate storage methods.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks and ensure they are secured properly.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required for powered equipment).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, workstations, and common areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
- Perform general labor tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics principles.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
