We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our busy warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is crucial for managing the flow of goods within our facility, ensuring that materials are moved, stored, and organized efficiently and safely. You will operate various material handling equipment and perform tasks that require physical strength and precision. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and into warehouse storage.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Stack, store, and organize materials efficiently and safely.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and staging processes.
- Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area.
- Support inventory accuracy by ensuring proper material handling.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and best practices.
- Properly wear and maintain all issued PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including heavy Lifting (up to 70 lbs) and repetitive motion.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic Logistics operations.
- Strong emphasis on workplace Safety and correct PPE usage.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
