As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for transit and distribution.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all established safety guidelines.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Report any damaged items or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Ensure the proper use of all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving repetitive motion.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
This role is a cornerstone of our logistics workflow. We are dedicated to ensuring a safe workplace, providing training on safe practices and the mandatory use of PPE. Your role will involve active movement and a focus on accuracy to meet our demanding operational needs.
