We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include unloading incoming goods, verifying packing slips against received items, inspecting for damages, and accurately entering data into our inventory management system. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. This position requires excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Experience with forklift operation is a plus, though not required. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, so physical stamina is essential. You will be trained on all aspects of the job, including safety regulations and efficient handling techniques.
