Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Charlotte, North Carolina! As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory within our warehouse. Your expertise in operating forklifts will ensure the efficient and safe handling of materials, supporting our overall logistics operations. This role demands precision, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. We provide all necessary PPE, and maintaining a safe work area is paramount. You will be responsible for inspecting the forklift before and after use, reporting any mechanical issues, and operating the equipment in accordance with all safety guidelines. This position requires significant lifting and maneuvering of goods, so physical strength and endurance are important. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating various types of forklifts to transport materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Storing and retrieving inventory from high racks.
- Performing routine checks and maintenance on forklifts.
- Assisting with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
