Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Move raw materials and finished goods to and from designated areas.
- Replenish inventory stock and ensure proper placement.
- Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Proficiency with a variety of material handling equipment.
- Solid understanding of warehouse logistics, safety protocols, and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Willingness to strictly follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
This position requires a proactive approach to task management and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be a critical component of our logistics network, ensuring the smooth flow of materials. Experience with Forklift operation is a significant asset.
