Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and retrieve products based on order tickets.
- Ensure all picked items are correctly identified and match order specifications.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform routine checks on picking equipment.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Utilize handheld scanners for order fulfillment as required.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times in designated areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant walking, standing, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists or scanner instructions.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
This position requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be a key player in our order fulfillment process. Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control is beneficial. The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
