Join our bustling warehouse in Houston, Texas as an Order Picker! We are seeking individuals with a sharp eye for detail and a strong work ethic to accurately select items for customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in our fulfillment process, ensuring that the right products are gathered efficiently and accurately. This role is key to our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Safety and precision are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or RF scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking.
- Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet established picking productivity and accuracy goals.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Support team members in achieving overall fulfillment targets.
- Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during the picking process.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform frequent moderate Lifting for the duration of the shift.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
