Provo, Utah is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. This role is vital for the efficient movement of goods within our facility, supporting our overall logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating various types of forklifts, ensuring the safe and timely transport of materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Safely transport inventory and supplies to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Assist with organizing warehouse stock and optimizing storage space.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory checks as needed.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely material handling.
- Adhere to all traffic rules and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment as required and report any issues promptly.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, when not operating a forklift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with WMS is a plus.
