We are hiring a diligent Inventory Clerk for our warehouse facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is essential for maintaining precise control over our inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and readily available to support our operational needs. You will be responsible for all aspects of inventory management, from receiving and stocking to conducting cycle counts and resolving discrepancies. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount for success in this position. This is a key support role within our logistics department.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform routine cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Receive incoming stock, verify against packing slips, and ensure proper storage.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies or damages.
- Assist in the organization and layout of warehouse storage areas.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock or potential shortages.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Support logistics and operations teams with inventory data and reconciliation.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer applications, including WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing, walking, and moderate Lifting throughout the shift.
- Dedication to Safety procedures and best practices.
- Good communication skills.
