We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our Phoenix, Arizona facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory within our warehouse. This position is essential for optimizing storage space and ensuring efficient material handling within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating reach trucks and a commitment to safety. You will perform daily inspections of the equipment, maintain it in good working order, and ensure the work area remains safe and organized. Strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This role involves precise maneuvering of equipment and materials, requiring excellent spatial awareness and a steady hand. While the primary focus is operating the reach truck, occasional tasks may involve lifting or assisting with other warehouse duties. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move and store inventory at various heights.
- Retrieve stock for order fulfillment and put away incoming goods.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance of the reach truck.
- Ensure accurate placement of inventory within designated rack locations.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, paying attention to aisle clearance.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and verification as needed.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Support overall logistics team objectives and perform related duties as assigned.
- Handle occasional moderate lifting and manual material movement.
