We are hiring an Inventory Clerk for our Columbus, Ohio facility. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This role is critical to our logistics operations, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a systematic approach to inventory management. You will be involved in cycle counting, stocktaking, and investigating discrepancies. A good understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory systems is essential. This position demands a high level of organization and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment departments to ensure stock accuracy and availability. Proper handling of inventory, which may involve lifting, is part of the daily routine. We prioritize safety above all else, and all team members must consistently use the required PPE and follow all safety protocols. Your role will directly impact the efficiency and profitability of our operations by minimizing stockouts and overstock situations. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Organize and manage warehouse stock for optimal accessibility.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate stock intake.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and proper use of PPE.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving inventory items.
