Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, supporting our overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies, managing stock adjustments, and implementing process improvements. Your work directly impacts efficiency, stock availability, and the reduction of shrinkage. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a meticulous approach to tasks, and a solid understanding of inventory management best practices within a warehouse setting. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, requiring adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Process inventory adjustments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and refine inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in inventory management and logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring regular lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Familiarity with broader logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
