Highmark Health Job Description: JOB SUMMARY Note: Candidates must be U.S. citizens due to contractual/access requirements. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing robust information security policies and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity where you will engage in threat hunting, SIEM engineering, log source onboarding, and detection engineering. You will analyze potential and current security threats while ensuring compliance with established security standards, making a significant impact on our organization's safety. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide essential operational support for various information security technologies.
Effectively analyze and troubleshoot information security issues.
Complete project tasks to ensure the timely, budget-friendly, and scope-sensitive delivery of security initiatives.
Communicate vital security information clearly to management and the workforce.
Assist in incident response protocols and change management processes.
Conduct application risk assessments in accordance with HIPAA and PCI standards.
Ensure ongoing compliance with required security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Perform additional tasks as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION Required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Required: 3 to 5 years in Information Security and Systems Analysis. 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, or Information Technology. 3 to 5 years in Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions and activities. 3 to 5 years developing, communicating, and presenting Information Security and Risk Management concepts to diverse audiences. 3 to 5 years working with technologies such as IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM. Preferred: 5 to 7 years of experience related to information security and systems analysis. Familiarity with HITRUST CSF or NIST 800-83 frameworks. Experience supporting SSAE 16 or SOC 2 Security audits. Experience with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools. Understanding of network security architecture. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Required:
None Preferred:
CISSP certification SKILLS: Knowledge of HITRUST CSF, NIST 800-83, PCI, HIPAA, and other security frameworks. Familiarity with secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Windows server environments. Strong teamwork and communication skills. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

Office-Based Physical presence at required locations with occasional travel between sites may be necessary. Pay Range:
