What You'll Bring: 5+ years of experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems, applications, or advanced machine learning systems.
A proven history of creating robust frameworks featuring high-quality, durable APIs.
A strong grasp of machine learning algorithms with practical application experience.
Expertise in constructing reliable, high-performance, and cost-efficient systems using modern cloud infrastructure.
Comprehensive experience across the machine learning development lifecycle, with a focus on MLOps practices.
Excellent collaboration abilities, working effectively across teams and departments.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exceptional coding proficiency in Python or C++, along with a keen interest in the transformative potential of autonomous driving.
A bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related practical field.
Nice to Have: Experience with distributed training methodologies.
Background in scaling machine learning training across large GPU/CPU clusters or other accelerators.
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Experience in performance profiling and advanced training optimization techniques, understanding their effects on model performance.
Experience with advanced build systems including Bazel, Buck, Blaze, or CMake.
Work Environment:
This role is categorized as hybrid, requiring the successful candidate to report to the Sunnyvale or Mountain View Technical Center in the Bay Area at least three times per week. Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $189,000 to $300,000. Actual base salaries will be determined based on relevant factors. Benefits:
