Embark on an exciting journey as an Entry-Level DevOps Specialist where you'll dive into challenging IT projects while receiving mentorship from seasoned experts. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop essential skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Engage in impactful IT assignments under the guidance of experienced team members. Proactively communicate any issues or inquiries to management. Collaborate in discussions to tackle medium-scope problems effectively. Attend meetings to broaden your understanding of processes and projects. Follow established guidelines to ensure the effective completion of your tasks. Exercise critical thinking and prioritize customer service when addressing challenges. Prepare reports and presentation materials to support team initiatives. Assist in developing solutions that enhance developer workflows within our AWS cloud environments, emphasizing cost efficiency. Contribute to the development of CI/CD shared libraries and pipelines. Design and implement scalable and highly available architectures. Ensure the security and redundancy of our cloud environments. Incorporate DevSecOps best practices into engineering processes. Support teams in implementing test-driven development techniques. Manage software deployment frameworks across various environments. Drive automation improvements and conduct root cause analysis for identified issues. Work collaboratively to swiftly resolve outages and system issues. Enable automated testing, monitoring, and alerting for our systems. Help maintain compliance with security and privacy regulations. Utilize remote collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, and Slack effectively. Develop and maintain thorough documentation for processes and systems. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; 0-2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience. Must be a rising college senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Self-motivated with strong analytical skills. Hands-on programming experience in at least one language such as Java, Python, or Bash. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Genuine interest in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation techniques. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build management tools, including Git and Jenkins. Awareness of security best practices in the IT field. Capability to perform in distributed systems with a focus on redundancy and performance optimization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of working professionally with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and organizational abilities. Interest in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure, and related technologies. EEO Statement:
