What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on higher education and technology solutions. Proven experience with Ellucian Banner and Slate systems, including implementation, customization, and integration. Strong understanding of higher education processes, policies, and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results. Experience with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar applications. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred. What you'll be doing:
Lead and manage complex technology projects within the higher education sector, focusing on the implementation and integration of Ellucian Banner and Slate systems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, risk assessments, and change requests. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address project requirements, risks, and issues. Provide expert guidance on the best practices for utilizing Ellucian Banner and Slate systems to improve institutional processes and student outcomes. Conduct regular project reviews and update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues. Ensure that projects adhere to established quality standards, policies, and procedures. Foster a collaborative project environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
