You will play a key role in maintaining availability, reliability, and performance of our generation assets working hands-on with market-leading engine technology in a safety-critical, high-standards environment.
Key Responsibilities Carry outplanned and preventative mechanical maintenance on gas and HVO generators (CAT, MWM, Jenbacher, Cummins, MTU)and associated auxiliary equipment Diagnose faults, troubleshoot breakdowns, and respond to call-outs efficiently Complete mechanical installation work onnew generator installations and upgrades Work closely withSite Managers and Engineering teams to maximise uptime and generation output Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards Accurately record maintenance activity and defects About You Qualified Mechanical Technician (Trade Certificate or Mechanical Engineering qualification) Previous experience withCHP engines, diesel generators, gas engines, or heavy plant (highly desirable) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability Flexible, self-motivated, and reliable, with a strong safety mindset Comfortable working both independently and as xcfaprz part of a wider engineering team What We Offer Competitive salary, aligned to experience Company vehicle and allowance Company pension scheme with employer contributions up to 5.5% Annual leave entitlement Full training and manufacturer exposure on specialist generation equipment Clear career progression within a growing renewable energy and power generation business The opportunity to work on critical infrastructure that directly supports sustainability and energy transition
