People Partner 12-Month Fixed Term Contract Dublin Onsite Role Profile: As a People Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our People Strategy.

Reporting to the People Manager, you will partner with senior leaders across faculties and schools to drive impactful HR initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
This is a dynamic role that blends strategic influence with hands-on delivery.
You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting talent management, performance, employee relations, and organisational development, ensuring our people practices enable high performance and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Strategic HR Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning HR strategies with organisational goals and priorities.
Provide clear, practical guidance on policies, procedures, and employee-related matters.
Support leaders in navigating people challenges and implementing effective, sustainable solutions.
2.
Resource Planning Guide stakeholders in developing robust, evidence-based staffing proposals.
Deliver meaningful insights and workforce data to inform decision-making at Resource Committee level.
Contribute to Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), supporting all stages of the process.
3.
Talent Acquisition Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support effective recruitment strategies.
Collaborate with faculty and unit leaders on workforce planning, attraction, and retention.
Support recruitment activities, including interview participation and selection processes.
4.
Employee Relations Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive working environment.
Provide practical guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution.
Work closely with the People Manager and ER/IR teams to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
5.
Performance Management Champion the Performance Review and Development (PRD) process across the organisation.
Support probation processes and performance improvement initiatives.
Coach managers in setting clear objectives and delivering constructive feedback.
6.
Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with key stakeholders.
Ensure HR services and policies are aligned with the organisations People Strategy.
7.
HR Operations Ensure timely and accurate completion of HR administration and compliance requirements.
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement of policies and processes.
Qualifications & Experience Degree (NFQ Level 7 or equivalent) in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters qualification is desirable.
CIPD membership (or working towards) is an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience using HRIS and other HR systems.
Essential Training The successful candidate will be required to complete the following mandatory training: Orientation Health & Safety Data Protection (GDPR) Cyber Security Awareness Performance Review & Development (PRD) AI Literacy Additional training may be required in line with organisational needs.
