The Role You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical inspection, maintenance, and upgrade works across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of electrical panels and associated systems Diagnose faults and perform repairs on control panels, MCCs, and instrumentation systems Support commissioning, decommissioning, and minor upgrade works Ensure compliance with national safety regulations, risk assessments, and company procedures Prepare accurate inspection and service documentation following each site visit Liaise with site supervisors and project managers to coordinate work efficiently Maintain tools, PPE, and company equipment to a high standard Candidate Requirements Fully Qualified Electrician (QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft Electrical or equivalent) Valid Safe Electric Registration QC Number essential Minimum 3 years experience in industrial, utilities, or infrastructure environments Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and panel layouts Knowledge of safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and risk assessments Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required Strong communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience Experience within water or wastewater treatment facilities Confined Space and Manual Handling certification Familiarity with ATEX-rated environments Understanding of SCADA and telemetry systems Valid CSCS/SOLAS card/ QC Number Whats on Offer Competitive salary €55,000 €58,000 Travel allowance Fully equipped xcfaprz company vehicle and fuel card Expenses covered Long-term, stable employment across multiple projects Ongoing training and professional development Supportive, safety-focused working environment To apply or discuss this opportunity in confidence, please contact: Linkedskills Connecting Skilled Professionals with Industry Leaders.
