- September) An exciting opportunity is now available for a Consultant Microbiologist to join a busy and progressive acute hospital team in Cork on a fixed-term contract from now until September.
This role offers the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment, supporting clinical services through expert microbiological leadership, infection prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist microbiology and clinical infection advice to medical teams
* Support infection prevention and control programmes
* Contribute to antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
* Participate in laboratory oversight and clinical governance activities
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes Salary: ?? €262,070
