We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse and ensuring operational efficiency. You will work closely with the warehouse team to support inventory management and order fulfillment processes. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all operating procedures and regulations. Experience with various types of forklifts and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE.
