Your Role As a Technology Solutions Architect, you will be a key technical consultant for our team, leveraging your problem-solving skills to ensure efficient technology systems across our enterprise. Your expertise will help minimize operational risks while enhancing overall technology efficacy. In this dynamic role, you will: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and align technology solutions with business processes.
Translate both functional and technical requirements into effective solution architectures, guiding developers and engineers through build and deployment processes.
Design scalable systems by implementing selected technology stacks that can be effectively supported by various service providers and skilled staff.
Review contracts and agreements to ensure sound technology acquisition and procurement.
Assist business units in identifying and evaluating technology partners while maintaining relationships with vendors to stay updated on technological advancements.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, evaluating their relevance to our operational and financial needs.
Contribute to our technology inventory and monitor the health and utilization of systems across our portfolio.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for technology systems and processes.
Ensure smooth transitions for new technologies in production through effective documentation and communication of related business processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert on our technology systems and their capabilities.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer information systems, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT engineering with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
2+ years of experience in information security and cloud technologies.
Proven experience in designing and implementing technology solutions, including architectural patterns and non-functional requirements.
Experience with at least one major public cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of automation and scripting tools like PowerShell or Python to optimize processes.
Ability to evaluate and recommend technology solutions based on business objectives and risks.
Strong collaboration skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
Detail-oriented in reviewing technical documentation and vendor proposals.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Azure solution architecture.
Integration expertise with Microsoft 365 services including Entra, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.
Familiarity with relational database systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
Understanding of web hosting platforms and enterprise solution architectures.
Experience in designing system integrations using common enterprise patterns.
Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation and low-code/no-code platforms.
