Due to continued expansion, Ward Personnel is seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to join our client’s team for a full-time role based in Cork City. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a large-scale residential development consisting of 337 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments across four blocks.
The Site Manager will be responsible for managing all internal finishes, including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), joinery, kitchens, and other fit-out elements, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Project Director and carry out all assigned duties.
- Oversee all internal finish works including M&E, joinery, kitchens, and final snagging.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations.
- Implement and maintain Health & Safety standards, including the use of Safety Manuals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
- Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience managing construction sites.
- Proven experience in residential developments, including apartment or housing projects.
- Strong background in managing internal finishes and coordinating multiple trades.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and site compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
