The Role In the role of LIMS Administrator, you will play a crucial part in managing, configuring, and maintaining laboratory and quality data within our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), along with related enterprise systems like SAP and CPro. Your efforts will ensure precision in data handling, reliability of systems, and extensive support for laboratory and quality operations. You will also spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and promote cross-functional alignment across systems. This full-time position is based in our North Kingstown, RI facility. Please note that remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. Key Responsibilities Administer and manage materials, tests, specifications, and master data within LIMS, SAP, and CPro systems. Create and adjust system configurations for both new and existing materials, including control limits and analysis setups. Execute approved system changes following established change control and ECN processes. Configure and uphold LIMS functionalities such as modules, interfaces, scripts, and automated workflows. Diagnose system issues to ensure smooth laboratory and production activities. Develop, sustain, and implement system documentation, procedures, and training materials consistent with internal policies and quality standards. Conduct training for system users, maintaining thorough training documentation and records. Generate and analyze reports, control charts, and statistical outputs to enhance quality monitoring and decision-making. Facilitate cross-department communication to ensure precise and consistent implementation of processes. Engage in system enhancements, process improvement projects, and other departmental initiatives as needed. Requirements Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or information systems-related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience 1-2 years of experience with LIMS, SAP, or similar laboratory or quality management systems. Skills and Competencies Meticulous attention to detail for accurate management of complex system data. Familiarity with laboratory or quality workflows and data organization. Ability to troubleshoot system challenges and support users within an operational setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
