Your Role: Materials & Logistics Team LeaderAs the Materials & Logistics Team Leader , you will play a crucial role in coordinating our Goods Inward and Shipping Functions. Your mission? To ensure that all incoming materials and outgoing finished goods are processed accurately, safely, and on time. You will be the key point of contact for our customers, ensuring a seamless and effective service delivery.
What You Will Bring:- Expertise in International Shipping: Knowledge of shipping protocols, Incoterms, commodity codes, and tariff classifications.
- Documentation Management: Proven ability to handle complex import/export documentation and customs entries.
- Supervisory Experience: Experience in managing the end-to-end "Goods In" process with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Team Leadership: Skills in prioritizing workloads, managing team performance, and fostering a positive culture.
- Safety Commitment: Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to HSE policies and standards.
- KPI Monitoring: Competence in developing and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and participating in audits.
- Goods In: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming materials and components.
- Shipping: Manage transport logistics and ensure compliance with import/export documentation.
- Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock records, lead cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
- General Leadership: Participate in audits, allocate workloads, and create a motivating team environment.
