Unloads shipments of toilet partition hardware. Opens bales, crates and other containers. Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas. Communicates with Partitions Shop, Customer Service and Production Control regarding orders, hardware and inventory. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves and upright storage bins predetermined sequence such by product code. Receives, verifies and restocks toilet partition merchandise. Packages toilet partition parts for specific toilet partition models. Reads toilet compartment order to determine items to be packed. Accurately and timely assembles customer orders from stock. Performs Pack Scan duties. Performs cycle counts as needed or required. Counts items to ensure conformance to company standards. Pulls all parts from pick sheet for customer orders. Packages customer orders. Prepares parcels for mailing, including marking with identifying information and weighing. Places orders on pallets and conveys orders to TCF. Uses computer to record amounts of items received or distributed. Flags by entering orders into computer. Maintains inventory control by computer. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Transports orders and supplies within warehouse and between warehouse and plant. Inventories stock. Completes requisition forms to order supplies. Assists TPF cell members in packing procedures for customer orders. Has an understanding of Bobrick's 4 Grade Quality system and the ability to distinguish and explain between levels of defect. Also performs the following requirements of the below listed Module: Grade 3 Module Requirements: -Operational knowledge and use of all cell equipment in 1040/1080 -Inspects and measures cut stock to verify dimensions against specifications and maintain quality standards. -Removes cut stock from machine and maintains production count. -Drills particle board using jig, then installs T-nuts and/or inserts. -Operates glue machine, or sprays glue and presses material together manually to apply adhesive to surface of material, and press glued materials together to bond material together and set glue. -Uses pallet banding and wrapping equipment to package components for shipment. -Checks and completes paperwork prior to shipment. -Understands and uses pack scan equipment to verify packing of components and hardware. Other duties: -Safe operation of all machines. -Ability to troubleshoot issues. -Knows and follows all quality checks. -Common sense to carry out instructions. -Critical thinking skills. -Policy understanding and communications. -Acceptance of responsibility. -Leadership skills. -Accurate understanding of Rules of Engagement in Bobrick Flow manufacturing. -Present information and respond accordingly. -Effective communications. -Meet work demands and deadlines. -Demonstrate understanding of VMP's and JSC's. -Perform and instruct on PM. -Ability to instruct others on VMP's and JSC's. -Expertise in all aspects of quality per cell. -Performs routine maintenance and tooling changes. -Operates sanding machine to smooth edges of phenolic. -Sets up and operates single spindle router to trim excess material from cemented parts, finish edges, and cut slots, grooves, or notches in plastic laminate. -Files edge of piece to finish. -Cleans piece. -Follows instructions on drill sheets and drill pieces, and installs inserts if needed. -Drills door blanks for T-nuts. -Inspects completed work. -Performs duties in the work cells in a group effort. -Completes paperwork, packs and labels cartons. -Performs minor maintenance on tools and equipment. -Performs all other duties as assigned.
